Herb D just use the same starting loads you would use with the Hornady pointed bullets, and work your way up until you find the most accurate load.

Thanks N E 450 No2 but I was hoping to find someone who had an "old" reloading book that would show the loads for these.

I have the Hornady Vol 2 (1978-fourth printing) and it may or may not help? The notes at the bottom of both 150 and 180gr. state "These loads may also be used with the 150gr (or 180gr) round nose" In the 150 4895(but does not list maunfacture) 48.2/2800fps, 49.9/2900fps, 51.6/3000 fps and 53.4/3100fps@MAX for the 4831 it's 56.9/2700fps and 59.1/2800fps@MAX (only 2 loads?) For the 180gr 4895 44.8/2500fps, 46.7/2600fps, 48.5/2700fps and 50.3/2800fps@MAX and then for the 4831 it's 53.8/2500fps, 55.7/2600fps and 57.6/2700fps@MAX hope this helps This printing ran from june 1973 till july 1978,I believe the powder would have heen Hodgdon? Almost forgot The primers on all were FED 210 [ 01-26-2003, 08:06: Message edited by: 3006va ]
