Attachment is a link to a auction of Pacific Durachrome loading dies for the 45-70. If you follow the link and view original listing, a blow up photo is available. Notice the small metal piece in the middle of the picture that looks like a flanged sleeve. I don't know what it is and neither does the seller. floating seater? If so, how to secure it to the seating die?

i have one of those... mine is a custom bullet seater for swc bullets..... the lee speed die i bought years ago had a rounded seater that didn't work that well for seating the flat nose swc bullets........ i sent them a bullet sample and they sent a custom seater.... can't remember the price but lee equipment is always resonably priced.... and yes the thing will be a floating seater if you wish....................
