thumbLast night my cousin called and wanted to know if I'd be home and that he wanted to drop something off. When he arrived he presented me with an original Holly Wood press in perfect shape.

My Holly Wood Senior is 50 some years old and is of the improved alum castings, grooved alignment and lube fittings and has a 4.5" stroke.

This more ancient Holly Wood is of all steel construction ,heavey beyond belief, and only has a 3.5" stroke. For someone like me it is an old beauty. With it came a number of dies, primer rods and original shell holders. Knowing where it came from I doubt that it's been used in 40 years.

The Bonaza was increased by 2ea Lyman # 55 powder dispencers. a Reddfield old but serviceable(like new) balance with spare beam and parts,2ea. 50 or 60 year old unused 310 tong tools and thousands of cast bulletes and cartridge cases.

I've been cleaning brass for 4 days now.

Good for you and your cousin.

"Thousands of Cast Bullets and Cartridge Cases" Are you going to have to buy some new rifles, or does the bounty fit the existing firearms?

Damn, I`m envious! The only thing my cousins leave on my step are zucchini & puppies.

The cases and bullets deffinitly can be used with rifles I already have, but dog gone you've started me thinking I may need a little help with another rifle.

Oh I forgot to mention a fair number of casting dies, handels, two pots and a pouring ladle. Sizer and lubricator may fallow. Not into hot metal anymore so don't have any plans for this stuff.

The young novitiate next door got one of the 55s and Redding balance for $ 27.00 total. Might have given it to him for nothing but didn't want to spoil him. fishingroger
