Read this somewhere... well here actually.
A.D.I powders and their American equivalents

"AR 2208 Varget
AR 2209 H4350
AR 2213 H4831
AR 2213 H4831SC"

From what I have been told here, they are the same thing, just sold under differents names.

Find THAT hard to believe, espicially since the A.D.I powders are about 1/2 - 2/3 the cost to buy.

Q. IS THIS A FACT?

I can`t varify it but Ive heard the same, at least as far as Varget and H4831sc are concerned. I think the price differance is probibly because the powders are produced down under, shipped to the states, packaged, and shipped back to you.

I think that all Hodgdon "Extreme" powders are made by ADI. The standard ball powders are/were made in Florida and are pretty close to some Winchester powders in performance/appearance. Good shooting

Sure is. Hodgden's aren't a manufacturer, just a packager...

I think you will also find that H4227 is AR2205, and H4198 is AR2207, and Benchmark is really BM2.

further there's evidence to say that H414 = Win 760 and H335 = Win 748

However until I get that data proven, I'll continue to load by the books.

Looks like I might start saving big $$!!

As far as the H414 = WIN760... funny I thought it looked and performed the same. Maybe, maybe not.

Will continue to look into this one.

What could H322 be? It looks like a A.D.I powder

Some proof at least. This was on A.D.I's web site.

[B]"...AR2213SC is in regular production and ADI will be in a better position to guarantee supply. AR2213SC is repackaged and distributed by Hodgdon Powder Co. in the US under the brand name of Hodgdon H4831SC. ADI also produce AR2213H for Hodgdon, being Hodgdon H4831 in North America and Europe. Now I can sleep at night.
