seafire, I am new to reloading and wondering why did you use small pistol primers? Pat | |||

Since it is a powder commonly used in pistol loads.. small pistol or large pistol primers work more than enough.... you can use small rifle primers of course... however, that was what was sitting on the reload bench at the moment since the last couple of times I was down where I can purchase primers, they were out of both small rifle and large rifle primers.. evidently due to demand for primers in the Middle east and military applications... So that was why more than anything else... but the small pistol primers ignite it just fine also... Life Member: The American Vast Right Wing Conspiracy Jan 20, 2009..
