I am shooting a Hornady 170g RN at 2630 fps, in my Turkish Mauser. The load consists 49.5g of IMR4064, Win primer and Rem brass. It shoots 1 1/2" groups at 100 yards with no problems. It may even do better. The day I tryed this load it was cold and windy. There are no pressure signs, but Hornady says 49.4 is max. I loaded 48g of Varget with the same bullet, and got 1" groups and 2450 fps. Have never tryed the 180's, but have loaded 196 Normas with 46g of IMR4064, and got 2430 fps and 1" groups.

I use 48gr.aa2520, Win mag. primer 2500 ft. /sec.
in 19" barrel. In my gun there are no high pressure signs. With this powder I haven't gone any higher. There will be more help I'm sure. [Wink]

I'm using 43 grains of IMR 4064 with Nosler Ballistic Tips in my K98 Mauser. I'm getting groups just under one inch with a muzzle velocity of 2272 FPS.

I like the Remington 185 grain core-lokt bullet and IMR 4895 powder. 49.5 grains of IMR 4895 and this bullet correlate with the iron sights, and shoots well to boot.
