Has anybody out there had any experence with TNT bullets? This is mainly for the Aussies but if anybody has used them I would be interested to know about them. Bakes

They live up to their name and explode like dynamite; If you push the 224 much faster than 3400 they will vaporize in the air though. The .243 70 gr. out of the 243 is devastating on varmints. Animals the size of rabbits vaporize on impact. If you hit a fox there isnt much left either. It is fantastic on coyotes. Although I have not hit a shoulder yet, I think that if you do it will blow up. But in the ribs one small hole in, no exit and soup in side. Shoot a bird and there is no plucking.

There to soft for roo's if you hit the shoulder and dynamite on rabbits, you wouldn't get rabbits there would you? Would be real good for cats. Tried them in a 222 years ago, also a 22-250 and as 35nut said they left a blue vapour trail. So don't drive them to fast. They break up real quick at velocity listed as max. 416SW aka BBS

Yup, I use them in my 25-06....87 grainers. I have clocked them at 3475 fps average. They are awesome. Very accurate, very fragible and they turn coyotes inside out. I highly recommend them.
I too have had great luck with the 50g 224 bullets in both a 223 rifle and pistol, and in 22-250. In the latter they were devasting on prairie dogs out to 400 yards and they were going out at 3800 fps and held together fine. They aren't as accurate as others, but accurate enough.
