Try IMR 4320 with 250 gr Hornady Interlock Roundnose bullets. Start at a moderate level and work up toward maximum to get the load that works in your rifle. I used enough 4320 to get over 2400 fps in my 22" Remington 700; then took the load and rifle caribou hunting last fall. Worked to perfection at a range beyond what I planned to attempt. You might also try something in the order of 52-53 grains of H335 behind the same bullet, if that happens to work better for you. At woods ranges (under 250 yards) you don't get enough trajectory advantage to make it worthwhile to use spitzer bullets. | |||
