Has anyone used the Hodgdons Superformance powder in the 300 Saum? I am looking for loads starting with 130 gr bullets.

Bud I have been working on some test loads in my Wby Vanguard. Hodgdon lists 3400 fps with 150 gr bullets as max. Either my rifle has an very tight chamber or those max loads are pretty hot. My max load is about 3 or 4 grs less than recommended max. I haven't set up the chronograph yet so I can't tell you what vel I can reach. Accuracy seems pretty good. Hope that helps

Thanks for the reply snowman.I was hoping that their were others with info. Have compared all of Hodgdons powders.With this rifle and the 300 WSM.Will start my loads 2 grains less than the start point of the 300 WSM.
