Any of you still loading for the 218 Bee? If so, what flat nose brand bullets are you using?
Great old cartridge that might already be dead and I don't know it.

I still love to shoot my Martini Cadet in .218 BEE.
The rifle is still in original configuration and the barrel has the same military contour and sights.I do not know who converted the rifle but it was done a long time ago.
I still have a horde of Winchester 45 grain FMJ FP's. The little rifle really likes this bullet.
You did not mention what rifle you were shooting. If a lever gun, the plastic tipped bullets are safe to shoot.

I load for the Bee, but since my rifle is a Savage Model 23 bolt with a stacked magazine I can use pointed bullets. My load is 15 grains of AA1680 under a 40 grain Sierra HP for 2980 fps.
