I was always under the impression that Berger bullets were suitable for target or varmint use only. I've seen the TV piece touting the Gunwerks long range system and they're using Berger bullets on bear, elk etc. What's the story?

Berger VLDs are being advertised as hunting bullets. This past fall, I used them on antelope with excellent results.

This DVD is made by the same folks who use the Berger VLD exclusively on the hunting TV show The Best of the West. It is a condensed version showing several kills listing the cartridge, MV, bullet and range.

Using Berger VLD on game is for real.
