Tried to access Widener's Shooting Supplies web site. No luck. Phone number seems to be disconneced. Does anyone have any information about Wideners? Are they still in business?

They were still very much in busniess in Dec.A good friend of mine who lives nearby the store and is a freq. customer hasn't mentioned anything to me the past few times we talked.

Yeah, they're still in business. Their website sucks, though. Even after the "redesign" that was supposed to fix the problems, they're still there.

I was in there about 3 weeks ago. One of the guys at the front counter is pretty nice and I mentioned to him how bad the site was. He told me they were about to totally scrap the current site and go with a new one. I don't buy much from them unless it is something I really need because the sales tax here is prohibitive. I usually order online from Graf's because of the flat rate for shipping. I think it is $3.25 or so.

I was trying to get on their website earlier and got an "Under Construction" notice. Hopefully they'r fixing it. The phone # on their site was wrong ,I did a Yellow Pages search to get the right one,but sorry I "filed it somewhere" and I'm not real sure where.

Yeah, I like the guys in the store.

The website's totally bad, though. About the first of the year I ordered some stuff through it and never heard from them about it. Not to mention how difficult it is to navigate through and find stuff to order!
