Dies for big bore

new 416 rigby custom on a satterlee action and pacnor barrel. Do I need full sizing dies or neck dies and why?? Confused

You will definitely need a full length (FL) sizing die, the neck sizing die is optional.

I'm saying this assuming you want to use the rifle to hunt dangerous game. For that application, you want your rounds to chamber without any problems, and in that case FL sizing is what you want.

For shooting on the range, you can neck size, if that takes your fancy.

Winkmho thanks, someone had said only a neck resizing for big bore rounds?? I load several other calibers and up to 340 wtb with all fl resize dies so the neck only for big bore suggestion was questionable Confused
