Never shot Accubonds, but it is a cup/core bullet. I have only used H4831 and H4831SC in the 06 and it worked well. My sweet spot is 58 grains with a WLRP in Win brass. Dennis Life member NRA

Use most any6 data for a similar bullet. Start low and work up

Ok guys thanks. I loaded some imr4350. I loaded 10 up were going to go shoot today see how they group. 58 grains. Winchester cases and primer. Hopefully they'll group great. I got like 21 left of accubonds. If they do group well I'll load the rest. But thanks.

I’ve used 58.5 of IMR 4350 to just a bit longer than SAAMI max COAL in my Dakota .30-06 with the 150 accubonds. Shot right around 1”, and right around 3000 FPS from memory. The rifle likes 165’s better, so that’s what I normally shoot out of it- at 57g of IMR 4350. That bullet (150 accubond) will work just fine for pronghorn- it opens up pretty quickly, and retains most of its weight. H4350 is a bit more temp stable, but usually a smidge slower than the IMR. The H4895 I’d use whatever target load data for similar weight bullets- it’s been a while since I used that. 748 I’ve never used in the 06. As a friend says, if 4350 doesn’t work in the ‘06, you need a new rifle.

I use 60 gr. Imr 4350 with 150 gr. Sierra FB or BT. R-P brass, WLR, 3000+ fps. with 22" bbl pre 64 M70 Win. Load should be OK using the bullet you want. Hip

Get any other manual; your powders are common for a 30-06. Maybe not for nobler.

With a 150 gr bullet 4895 is the go to powder. It was developed specifically for the -06 and 150 grain loads.

4831 is the load of the ages, but these days I like powders that slip thru my powder measure like poop thu a goose, try some of the RL powder I like RL-22 and RL 19, H414 is another winner... that's the trouble with buying just bullet brand loading books. Most common loads are not shown. Get a couple other cover 'em all books. OR whenever you want info go to Hodgdons site.
