The Wonders Of 3D Printing!

One of my younger brother's daughters, whose kids love to spend time here shooting and making bullets, got me a filament 3D printer.

I passed on to one of my cousins, Maktoum.

Some of you might recognize from our safaris.

He set it up, and started making all sorts of things on it.

Really great, and very useful items for the workshop.

I need large powder funnels for the big calibers like the 577 T.Rex, 600 and 700 Nitro express.

They turned out incredible.

My MTM ammo boxes for my 375/404 are a bit tight.

The larger ones they offer are too loose.

So I asked him to make me some ammo boxes, gave him a round.

Made me a few, again, made to measure and fit perfectly!

A friend sells very sophisticated 3D printers, which make metal parts.

The samples he shows me are very hard to believe they are made on a printer.

I got a tool at a gun show for pushing down the magazine follower for my 9mm and 45auto, making loading the ammo much more easier. with carpel tunnel and arthritis in both hands it helps. it was made on a 3D printer.

I've seen printed AR lowers that were not too bad. They're good for making little mounting brackets that have weird angles and shapes that would be hard to hold in a mill.
