Ammoguide has no loads for the 6 x 62mm Freres. It's a German design from the 1990s and has a P max of 62,366 psi According to QL, N 160, N 165, and R 905 seem to work will at 92 to 95% fill rates. R 907 gets to hot to fast. I have no published load information for it.

A Blaser proprietary caliber, manufactured in Thun (near Bern, SW). Very hot, fast and leaving lots of copper in the bore (I also expect short barrel life). It is also quite destructive on venison at shorter ranges. Typicaly a mountain cartridge, due to its flat trajectory and the compact package when mated with its rifle of destination, the R93/R8. André DRSS --------- 3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact. 5 shots are a group.

It is not a Blaser proprietary caliber. It was developed by Günther Freres who also was responsible for the 5,6x50. Yes, it is a mountain caliber well suited for chamois etc. It has quite a large following in Austria. I used it succesfully on chamois and roedeer out of a 98 Mauser.
