| I have the Wilson trimmer from Sinclair International. I started with the basic unit on the Sinclair stand and base. I later upgraded the adjustment screw to the Sinclair micrometer screw adjuster. I found the original adjustment screw to be too coarse. I was spending a lot of time trying to adjust precise case lengths. It could do it, but I found it too sensitive to try to turn the screw with a screw driver so I use a foot long steet ruler that fit the slot in the adjustment screw perfectly and was stiff enough to turn the screw with out bending. This long lever adjustment worked good, I could move the adjustmet screw in small amounts due to the foot long radius of the leaver arm. The micrometer adjustment head I bought for it works much faster and with the calibrations it make repeat adjustments much faster. |

| I have the case trimmer for Wilson and found pretty much the same thing that greenjoy has said.
What kind of ticks me off though is I also have the neck turner that Wilson "use" to make and have discontinued. I wish I had bought a second one as a spare. |

| I got my wilson from Midway with the PTG trimmer base. The screws to connect the base to the trimmer are not included. It took me 2 trips to the lowes before I went and got some real screws (nice stainless ones). I went to Smith Fastener in charleston WV and they have a $10 min so now I have 42 of the little critters. To make a long story short...If you need some drop me a line and and I'll send some to you free-o-charge. I dont have any other use for them. |

| You will be very happy with your selection. I have a Wilson I bought over 40 years ago and I have always been happy with it. A few years ago I bought a new trimmer blade because they don't sharpen the old ones any more - it was reasonably priced. |

| High quality, precise, and enjoyable to use, which is the case for me with quality tools. You do need a case holder for each parent case family, and for many, a fired and unfired holder. This is a bit of a pain, but adds to the precision I suppose. I haven't spent any time noodling on a universal case holder setup for the Wilson, but that would be nice.....
I've found if you run the cutter with a handheld screwdriver you have to push really hard, not so much when hand-cranking it IME....
You should be very pleased. |
