WYO, I use 61.5 grains of R-15 in my 35 Whelen with the XLC. I load these to an OAL of 3.350" in my 1903 Springfield rifle. The only thing I don't like about the bullets is the coating getting into my dies and scrapping off as I seat them. I wish I could get my hands on some uncoated ones again. BigBullet | ||

Thanks for the info, BigBullet. I had forgotten to ask about the COL, and that was on my mind as well. I load XLCs in .308 and understand the issue with the coating gunking up the dies, but I liked them anyway, at least until the Triple Shocks came along. As far as the non-coated bullets go, I surfed a litte bit, and Midsouth Shooters Supply's website indicates that they have them in stock. http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=0003535826 Hope this helps.
