I was just given a 8 Lb jug of AA 4350 .
I know its not the same as IMR and H 4350 .
But how is the burn rate compaired to those 2
Any load sujestions for 30-06 168 gr Combined Tec Ballistic Sliver tip ??
I was thinking of starting with a load of 52.0 gr with a Fed 210.

IMR 4350 and H-4350 and AA4350 are listed consecutively on the burn rate chart suggesting that they are either identical or similar powders. Further where I find AA4350 and IMR4350 in the same loading data the loads seem very similar as well.

In all likelyhood the 52 grain starting load seems reasonable and I suspect you can add another 5 grains before reaching a max load.

Do as you wish....if it were me I wouldn't load the stuff until I got a AA loading book...I've seen them and they're free, Check their website http://www.accuratepowder.com/data/PerCaliber2Guide/Rifle/Standarddata(Rifle)/308Cal(7.82mm)/30%2006%20Springfield%20pages%20263%20to%20267.pdf

Thanks I just ordered the reloading free book.
A freind just emailed me data from AA reloading guide #1 and it calls for 53.1-59.0 gr with a Sierra 168 gr Bt Hp match bullet.
I just copyed your whole link and found the same data .

I do not find the three powders identical...

Faster
*176 IMR-4350
*177 H-4350
178 S-365
179 TU-7000
180 N-550
*181 AA-4350
Slower

As for your load:
AA-4350 From 53.1 grains to 59.0 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

H-4350 From 46.8 grains to 60.0 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

IMR-4350 From 47.5 grains to 59.0 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

(My choice is the IMR powder.)

the AA 4350 I've used has gotten me considerably less velocity than the other 2 4350's. Whether or not it is making less pressure I do not know but it has been about 75 fps slower.

I think there are reports that the formulation of each of the 4350's has changed over time, and AA has moved from the slowest of the group to the fastest. I have experimented with all three, and found aa the slowest (old lot), IMR consistently faster and more accurate, and H most like IMR. Kudude

Just got back from the range loaded 4 loads to try .
All with Fed 210 Rem case ,used up some Hornady 165 gr BT spire points that were left over.
I loaded
53.5 1.125" group
54.0 1.00"
54.5 .725"
55.0 .650 "
3 - 3 shot groups each

Not sure of the speed ,need to down load all the stats for all the loads but the 55.0 gr load gave 2635 fps one time I looked.
I was shooting groups.

I am going to try the Combined Tec Balistic silver tips this week end.
In the past this rifle grouped best just below max with most loads.
Just need to work up slow to it.

Thanks for the info

FWIW, a conbversation with a tech from Accurate several years back: AA 4350 is approximately 1 grain slower than IMR 4350. That is due to the fact that AA 4350 is cotton based (as are all their powders), and IMR is wood-based... In other words, nitrocotton versus nitrocellulose.
What I was told is to add one grain to the mimimum and maximum IMR loads and have fun...
