I was wondering if any of you use nosler brass (300 ultra mag).
load is 100-107gr of US 869 powder and a fedral 215m primer. Velocity started at 3169 and ended up at 3326 for a 180 grain barns triple shock. Primers are rounded not flat velocity is a little lower than expected, but right of the bat at 100gr of powder extracter mark and not really increasing much when powder charge is increased. Is this brass similar to the fedral match brass? I always found it to be really soft, Is this the same with Nosler brass? Also no noticable expansion in brass at case head.
