2ndaryexplosioneffect,

I am unaware of this site spawning such advertising mayhem, so I would be suspicious of your own provider. Are you using one of those free internet provider services (ISP) which force such popups?

Your options are limited [if the primary is so]. You may desire to subscribe to a paying ISP so that those pop-ups disappear. Secondly, you might also consider installing a firewall software application which you can then configure to any of those annoying popups that the sites you may visit are eliminated as you are on line.

In my short time spent at this gun forum, I have never received a single piece of advertizement POP UP or anything like you have reported.

I suggest you double check your PC, somebody may have sent you a virus of some kind, or other people who might use your PC have given your address up by just clicking on things.

You got me guys??? This just started. Everytime I log on to this forum I get pop ups? It doesn't happen on other favorites pages I check everyday.

I just got these two when I logged on. If I delete them, they come back the next message I look at.

I have deleted cookies and files in my temp. internet folder and raised privacy level to high. They still come back.

U got me?

Shoot safe,
Mike

Definitely with your ISP. You may need to change ISP's to get away from this nonsense. This site just doesn't have any pop-up's at all, or advertising for that matter, another plus from our gracious host, Saeed.
Either check with your ISP, clear out your Cache files and cookies on your ISP home page and your OS desktop, and empty your recycle bin to remove all the cookies. - Sheister
