Whats the difference between these powders? It,s my understanding that they are one and the same, re-packaged surplus.

Pending on which chart you look at one is a little faster than the other. In my mind they are so close I can not tell the difference. If forced to choose I would say that AA8700 is a bit slower in my experience.
