Hodgdon's website has data. As does the Barnes #3 manual. That should hopefully get you started. www.hodgdon.com

I have a few loads from Hodgdon's 2004 Annual Manual already. I was just looking for some loads perhaps from the users of this site. I know Speer's #13 book has no loads in it. I will look in Barnes book ASAP.

Stevepages will tell you what you need to know. My magic powder for the .338 Lapua is Hodgdon H-1000. My accurate hunting loads are 99 grains H-1000 and Fed 215M primer and 240 grain North Fork or 250 grain Barnes or 225 grain Swift A-Frame, all around 3100 fps. For 1000 yard target go with Sierra 250 grain Matchkings. Good luck and good shooting.

I also have an HTR in 338 Lapua. THis is worked for me so far with more tested as time permits. Black Hills 250gr=1/2MOA @ 400yds. 4 shots went into 1.250 & I threw the last one. WOrking with the 300gr Sierra. The gun liked 92.5grs of the following powders. RL-25, N170, & H-1000. H-1000 also worked well @ 82.5grs. I will try Ramshot Magnum, IMR7828, H50BMG in the near future. I have a single shot so for the first shooting session I put them .010 off the lands. With only 72 rds fired we are still learning. One big help was that I reduced the length of pull all the way and put a Limb Saver slip-on recoil pad over the existing pad. Recoil seems to be the same as a Rem. 700 ADL in 30-06 but not as sharp. I was able to shoot 50 rds. off the bench in about 5 hrs. but was pleasantly tired. 2 aspirin about 20 minutes before trigger time used to help when shooting 50 cal's. Hope this helps. My factory load was 97.5grs. RL25 with a 200gr Nosler Ballistic tip @3151, 3 into .548 Good luck Let me know if I can help in the future.
