My next Encore barrel will be in one of these two I just can't decide which. If I decided on the 25 and wanted to neck down the 284 brass which is considerably cheaper than the now available 6.5 284 cases, will I have to inside ream? Welcome yalls thoughts and opinions!!

I have a pair of Remington based bolt rifles in 25-284 and find that chambering superb.

I use W/W 284 cases(bought a bunch before anything else was available). It is an easy one pass operation to yield finished brass and I don't have to neck turn them.

The 25-284 is amongst my most favorite,of my favorite cartridges...............

6.5 has better bullet selection.
