Hi, does anyone know what the neck length is for the 325 WSM?
I tried looking at Clymers site, but couldn't find a link to the standard reamers specs. Anybody have a link to that?
TIA

I dug around and found this at shortmags.org
http://www.shortmags.org/shortmags/downloads.htm

they have a pdf download from Speer that shows the base of the neck at 1.7921" with a case length of 2.1", so the neck would be .3079"

Is this different from the actual cases?
tks.

The .270 is from steves pages.
To list case length in tenths is optimistic as one can get.

There is a big difference in the two drawings, someones wrong.

I got a reamer from PTG, cut a chamber and poured a chamber cast. The neck length of the chamber cast is .326" ??? I wonder if the reamer was cut correctly?
I'm makeing a longer chamber in a surplus 8x57 barrel. So it looks like I should be able to have a .315" neck and still have room for case stretch.

The length of the neck on the reamer is definatly not what you want you brass to be.
