krakyQuestion about redding body die.....
I have 2 30-06's. I did alot of loading for my first gun and then added a bolt action to my aresenal. I'd like to try some of the ammo I loaded for the first gun in the 2nd gun but the headspace is just off enough that the bolt closes very hard.
MY QUESTION IS.....can I use a redding body die to "bump back the shoulder" on this loaded ammo??? I'm thinking yes.....but need to know for sure. Thanks

N. S. SherlockPersonally I've done this kind of thing for a few rounds from time to time. I've seen arguements pro & con. I'm not happy but I do it.

KennethIIf it were to go off, the die would give the powder enough containment to cause quite an explosion...

Jeff AlexanderRedding says in the flyer that is inclided with body dies: "don't use on loaded ammo".
