Just picked up a Rem 700 Classic and it loves the factory 196 gr S & B ammo. Anybody use this ammo on game?

No loads to offer, but look to Speer #13 for modern, full pop 8mm loads.

IIRC, a recent issue of Handloader had an article about that rifle/caliber. Seems 195-200 gr bullets performed best in it. Also the Hornady factory ammo did pretty good outa da box.

Open sights at 100 yds. This load seems to work equally well in all my 8x57's. I home it works as well in my new scoped Brno.
