I am looking for a good load for my 7x57. I tried H414 and Win 760, groups were good but very unstable as the temp. rises. I'm looking for a load that is stable in hot and cold weather. My rifle is custom made with a VZ-24 action and a Lilja 1-9 twist.
Any ideas??

Your round is about the same as the 7mm08 that I shoot and Varget and H4350 work great.

The TSX 140grainer is an excellent choice! VV is very stable from cold to hot. Try VV N 150, 39.8 min. to 43.6 max. Expected velocity 2600 to 2800 fps.
Nice day,

hglass,

I've used both IMR & H-4350, VV N-160, & VV N-560 and I'd suggest 48.0 grs. as a starting point with any of those powders.

I got suberb results with a wide range of bullets weights in 7x57's and 140's were some good shooters for sure. I ended up selecting the 120's just beacuse of the small Roe Deer we shoot here.

Cheers,
