My Cooper Excalibur Rifle shipped today and I have a box of 143 grain 6.5 Hornady ELD-X bullets I want to try. Anyone tried these yet? Or have any data to share? Trophies are not dead animals...they are living memories.

Nomrcy, I've been trialing the 143gr ELD-X in my 6.5mm SAUM. I've been using H1000 and velocity has been around the 3050 fps mark. I'm also about to start loading using Retumbo. Accuracy has been very good, with 62grs of H1000 3 shots into 0.7 MOA with 5 shots into under 1 inch. I'm a bit of an accuracy nut, I'm striving for 0.5 MOA and I've loaded up 61.0 to 62.0 grs of H1000 to see if I can shrink the groups down to 0.5 MOA. My rifle really likes the 140gr SST'S. Will group these into under 0.5 MOA. In my rifle these bullets like a 35 thousandth jump to the lands. Regards, Michael. She was only the Fish Mongers daughter. But she lay on the slab and said 'fillet'
