I found AA1680 to be the best powder with 200 gr cast bullets in my 357 max. It seems to come into it's own when the charges are heavy enough to be compressed. The less than 100% density charges had inconsistant velocities and poor accuracy. __________________________________________________ The AR series of rounds, ridding the world of 7mm rem mags, one gun at a time. | |||

I used to use 4227 for super accuracy out to 200 meters but can't remember the charge. It has been too many years. | |||
