I just picked up some once-fired brass in 30-06 with a head stamp S&W. It came in the Smith & Wesson cartridge case. Anyone ever use this, or know who manufactured it? I haven't weighed them, or measured them for water capacity.
Just curious.

I had some 44 mag ammo back in the early to mid `70s made by/for S&W. The stuff seemed to shoot OK as I remember but as to whom it was made by I couldn`t tell you. Been so long, I almost forgot they stamped their name on ammunition.

S&W "factory" ammo was produced by Fiocchi.

Thanks Steve.
Now, any idea about the quality of the brass with regard to consistency, etc.?
