I had a partial box of these bullets given to me...dunno how old they are but my 7x57 sure does seem to like them.......I don't know if you can still buy them,or what they would be comaprable to today, can't get any info around this town, which is no surprise  ....any help and info would be greatly appreciated... All I know is they are Remington softpoints in 175gr...they have small dish in the base.....would like more info on them,or better yet,buy a bunch of them

Why don't you contact Remington to see if they still make that bullet. There is a catalog number on the box, B22918, so Remington should know if it is still available. I'm guessing it's just their standard Core-Loct bullets for the 7MM mag. You're right about one thing. They sure do shoot good in your rifle. I'm wondering is one of the outfits like Midway also has the catalog number for reference, along with Midway's own number. Might be able to find out that way. Paul B.

The only thing I can find out so far is that they are PSP(pointed soft points) Remington bulk bullets....the part number is darn near identical B22919..maybe they are cor-lokt,thus the difference in part numbers.......gonna cut one in half and have a boo at 'er I sure would hate to change anything in the recipe, but ya gotta do whacha gotta do i suppose...thanks Bob

You will probably find the current crop of RP 175grCL shoot about the same. The only way to tell is buy a box & let em rip. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!
