Looking for any reload data for Alliant ar comp pushing a 178gr amax. I will be shooting out of a Sig 716 18" heavy barrel. Short stroke piston system.
If anyone has insight on suppressed loads, they would be appreciated.

AR Comp is not a likely candidate for suppressed loads, if you mean subsonic. It is a relatively slow powder for that use getting over 2650 fps with that bullet in full loads. Reducing velocity would mean a massive reduction in the powder charge, with nothing good resulting from that. IMO a much faster powder is required for decent subsonic use.
