A couple days a go I posted a message about bullet test packs. Thanks to Jumpalot and Bighuskersfan they told me about a web site called www.bulletdudes.com, so I checked out the site and I think its a hell of an idea. Could save a handloader alot of money, while being able to try a 4 or 5 different bullet manufacture . Just wondering what other reloads think about the site and if anyone has purchased from them.

I think what they're doing is more than reasonable. Hopefully they'll grow their inventory of premium bullets. (especially the tsx line). IN all honesty to give a bullet a fair test I think a guy should start a couple grains below max and work up loads in increments of 1.0 or .5 grains to see if there is a sweet spot but it can certainly happen that you pick a near max load with a popular powder and get a good shooter with just a few. I had that happen the other day with 140 tsx's in my 270 wby. On the other hand the 168tsx in .308 caliber seems to be a great shooter for alot of people and I'm not having terrific luck with that one. All in all I'd say these guys are off to a decent start though.

Kraky, I also hope they contuie adding the triple shock bullets.I shot the tsx in my 7mmmag and I have good luck with them.I will be working up some test loads for a friends 300RUM this spring, and think I am going buy the test bullet from www.bulletdudes.com . I think they might want to look at offering 10 bullets per pack, instead of 5, but I still think its a great idea.

204, tHANKS FOR THE HEADS up. I agree it is a super idea. I just emailed the "Dudes" and gave them several suggestions as well as our website address. Lets see what they do about it. My guess is that they are starting out in a garage but hell there is nothing wrong with that. It is a good idea and it has promise and there is a real need for it. It could save a guy with 4 or 5 rifles a bundle. Jack "La vida no vale nada sin El Honor" Winggunner SCV, MOS&B

I was actually thinking it might be a great idea if we set up a bullet swap section. I have purchased a few boxes so far and only fired a few out of the box to find i didnt like them in my rifle. Might set it up to show what you have to swap and types of bullets and grains you want to try and let other members get an opportunity to try a few and give you a few off their shelf to reduce the excess bullets setting on the shelf. i dont know I just thought it would be a good idea. Any interest? Just a humble suggestion. Most people are link slinkies, Basically useless but fun to push down the stairs.

I sent Saeed a pm on this but haven't heard anything. Maybe a bullet swap section under reloading where we could trade or buy/sell bullets we have collected & don't use? LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!

I also sent in an email with probably the same suggestions that some of you made. Why not start a bullet swap post here ourselves? I would be glad to sort some of my extra bullets into 6 packs and list them here and list what calibers/ makers/ styles that I'm interested in trying and anyone could offer trade X number of their 30 cal 127 grain Whizbangers for X number of my 29 caliber 119 grain Superstompers.
