Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the new caliber they would share.

My friend just purchased a M70 and it shoots great. Seems to love the heavier 220 grain bullets so he thinks we should go with those.

I will be reloading for him and I have lots (LOTS!) of Norma MRP. Any ideas?

Since the handloads may mot shoot the same as the 220 gr factory loads I would start by selecting a bullet that's optimum for the game and ranges.

As to that powder you might look at it's ranking and see that it's not too slow.

In my powder chart it is listed just one below H4831. I have seen lots of load data for the 300 WSM with H4831 so I assumed that one could start cautiously and see from there.
