I want to try loading some Hornady 117 grain Interlock round nose bullets for my 257 Roberts.
These bullets have the canalure cut in the bullet.
Do you have to seat the bullet to this, or can you seat these off the lands?

You can seat them to whatever length you need to fit the rifle.I use their bullets for several rifles and they are all a little different in what they like.

Ignore the cannelure and seat the bullet wherever it works best.
