I have some old Fed 215 primers that were given to me, they are old, and I am not sure where they were stored,

Should I use them?

I`d load a few and see how they do.
I recently used over a hundred small pistol primers my dad found in his basement a year or two ago. They were leftover from the early 70s when I quit going to his place to load my ammo, all fired fine.
I wouldn`t use them for hunting or defence ammo though, just to be safe.

if they've been stored reasonably I'd not hesitate to use primers 40 years old.....probably a lot more...
