Have you ever caught Barnes Seconds on sale somewhere? If so, where did you see them being sold? Thanks, Graybird "Make no mistake, it's not revenge he's after ... it's the reckoning."

Let me offer a guess..... If one makes a C&C bullet and it is somewhat "off color" and you don't know what to do with it....you sell it as a second as it's almost impossible to recycle it being made of lead and copper..... However if you make copper only bullets and have some "discolored" bullets you choose to not dilute your market by selling "seconds" and the "defective" bullets can be reclaimed/recycled easily. For this reason, I suspect we won't see seconds from Barnes! /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Yeah, good call Vapo. I never thought of it that way. Sounds like a reasonable option. Graybird "Make no mistake, it's not revenge he's after ... it's the reckoning."

I asked Barnes about it a while back, and they just don't have any "seconds" to sell as they use thenm for load development. Remember, forgivness is easier to get than permission.

Just buy a box of the Scirrocos or old Barnes X; you'll think you're shooting seconds (or thirds). ______________________________ "Truth is the daughter of time." Francis Bacon
