Howdy Folks,
This is the first time that I've posted on this board but by the looks of the size and topics " I'll BE BACK".
In the last two years I've acquired two Drillings. One older 16 ga.W/9.3X72R and a newer Fortuna 12 ga. W/9.3X74R.
My reloading books are all on US cartridges plus a few well known Euro's. Where would I find info. on the two 9.3's. I'm hoping that they're versatile and that there's a bunch of loading data available. (Yeah, I know, What an optimist)
Anybody got any info. on either?
Thanks in advance,
Pat

For 9.3x74R data: try to find norma.cc or Norma Precision, they have online data.

If You buy manuals: Vihtavuori, Speer ( 270 grs) or in the future hopefully Nosler.

For the anemic 9.3x72R: buy RWS reloading manual. Their powders are made by Bofors ( as ara Norma and reloder series ) but with a weak gun I would not try to substitute. Buy one can of RWS powder, I dont think You will shoot that cartridge that often. Then You need BRASS.

Good shooting! H

Thanks for the info. Brass for the 9.3X72R I have and even found some jacketed bullets for it. Right you are, it is kinda anemic and I'll not be shooting it much.
The 9.3X74R on the other hand is a nice bullet. Brass I've got, bullets are available and now it's "Buy the dies time"
Thanks again,
Pat

Check out vithavuori's website for data on the 9,3x72R, I don't remember the exact adress, but it is simple to find.
By the way, Sellier&bellot makes affordable brass and 12,5g bullets for this round.
