Picked up a couple boxes of 6.5 cal 130 gr Gamekings. because they were availible. Would like to know how they compare to the 129 gr Hornady or 120 gr Sierra Gamekings on deer sized game when shot from a 6.5-284 or a 260 Rem AI . Not interested in how they are in a magnum or some other target bullet. Thanks for any input you can share on these bullets

I doubt you could tell the difference in the performance of any of them. You could shoot a hundred deer with each bullet you mention and find ample contradictory and inconsistent results, with a particular bullet appearing to act excessively expansive in one instance and appearing to expand poorly in another. Shoot the deer in the thorax with any of them and the deer will die, likely sooner rather than later. Sierras have always worked just fine for deer-side game, even your large Canadian whitetails.

130 GK will perform just fine . They are a cup and core bullet not bonded core. Thousands of game have been taken with that bullet. Depending on the range it may not exit beyond 200 yards. I personally have taken a few Elk with 30 cal and 7mm GK's. Nice mushroom bullet on the ones I was able to recover.
