Static Electricity

I recently started reloading my own ammo and ran into a problem. My reloading funnel has more powder stick to the walls than what goes into the casing. I've tried tapping the funnel but static electricity is making the powder stick to the side. I've been reloading outside on a wood table. Does anyone know how to stop this. I've tried looking in the stores for a metal funnel but all I've found is plastic. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, if I buy a new plastic funnel, how do I keep it from acquiring static?

Don't ever wipe it out with a rag or paper towel. The graphite coating on powders will build up, virtually eliminating the cling problem. It doesn't take too long...

For a new funnel, pour a bunch of powder through your funnel into a clean container, say when filling the powder measure. That will coat it fast.

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

I use Steves trick with the fabric softener sheets. I use them on my powder measure too. Works like a charm.
