Load the 225 SST the same as any 225 grain cup and core bullet in the 338 Win Mag. It doesn't matter if it's Hornady or Sierra or anyones.....except for the monometals.

The SST is typically a thinner jacketed bullet designed for smaller big game such as deer and smaller african plains game. I like them up to .308 caliber as they are extremely aerodynamic. Thay also have a strong reputation for good accuracy.

As to the larger calibers I'd call Hornady and ask them what the intention of this bullet is for.....1-800-338-3220

I've found the reviews on Midwayusa.com to be quite helpful. I have no experience with these bullets personally, but in perusing the reviews on Midway, my general summary observation is that these bullets seem to be softer than Sierra Gamekings.

You can read reviews of individuals bullets there. Very insightful usually.
