Have been trying to evaluate the .325 Winchester Short Mag. cartridge capabilities, but reloading and ballistic data on this round don't seem to be generally available yet.

I have found some limited reloading data here and there on various internet sites, but not enough to make an informed judgement on the .325.

Based on the sparse data I've found so far, it appears to be a notch above your basic 8mm but considerably less horsepower than the .338. Is anybody on the forum shooting and/or reloading for the .325 WSM? I'd appreciate your impressions, opinions, and experience with this cartridge.

Savage 99 - Thanks for the links. The listed data seems to confirm my earlier estimates of the .325, showing 220 grain bullet max loads at a little over 2600 fps.
