Cann't argue with you on that Mike. On load development I often pump out three to see if I'm going to even be in the same county. And by shooting three I can still find my sweet spot that the guns likes. As far as the flinch goes I see many many people flinch with the much smaller calibers also. Just the other day I watched as a big manly man shut his eyes before each shot with his .22 rimfire. I'm not sure that qualifies as a flinch though?

You'd reckon, but in my case, shooting a 458
seems to have helped me in that now the smaller calibres just don't seem to kick at all.
And the 458 hasn't hurt yet either. Smiler
