Leupold 3x9, Leupold rings/bases. Other than that, I don't have info. I am going to check out the rifle over my lunch hour. The buyer wants $495. Is $450 realistic? Thanks

If its in nice shape thats fair. If its beat up, your paying way to much.

I just picked up a Leupold Vari-x II 3x9 for $180. Deduct that from the $500 and you are getting a pretty inexpensive rifle, IF It checks out safety and bore-wise. I might even ask to shoot it first if you are unsure about the person selling but otherwise go for it.

I generally buy nothing but used old model Ruger 77's and Leupold glass. I recently purchased three Ruger 77's, all either ANIB or NIB, all "flat bolt" models, with all boxes and papers for $165 each. In addition I purchased a "Centennial" model Ruger, NIB, for $175. As for used Leupold glass, I bought, at the same time, a 3x9, a 1x4, two 2.5x8's, a 4x12, and two 4.5x14's for a total of $575. All ANIB and unmounted. You won't find these kinds of deals in a store, like everything else enjoyable in life, you have to go "hunting" for them...and then take your best shot.

Steve. You didn't buy that stuff. You stole it. Hell, bring'em down here. you can clear an easy $300 each over what you paid for them down here. Paul B.

Put me down for a few of them Rugers. I'll give you $275 apiece for the flat bolts if you want to sell them and they're in the condition you describe. I'd also like an UL 77 MKI in 257R, a standard 77 in 280 Remington, and any other esoteric 77s you might be able to get a hold of. Realistically, in my neck of the woods, a 77 MKI in excellent shape sells for $300-$350, sometimes slightly more for calibers that were special runs or made in very low numbers. You find any you don't want my email address is bchannell@charter.net At them prices, I'd need a couple of more, much bigger gun safes. As for the scopes, if they're like new, they're easily worth $175-$200 for a Leupy 3-9X, just check out Ebay and see what they sell for. I'll take all you got.

I don't buy the old Rugers for resale...I work-up a load for them and then put them away... Hell, I still have some of the original No.1's with the vertical rings...you know the ones I am talking about...the ones that came with beautiful wood...
