Has anyone used the CH4D Heavy Duty Champion Press to load the 404 Jeffery or .375 H&H length rounds? Do they fit? From what I can tell the bullet would need to be tipped up into the die before seating. Does anyone have any of the dimensions of the press, ram travel ect. or experience with one? It looks like an interesting and heavy duty press. Allen It's a Mauser thing, you wouldn't understand.

Winchester 69, Unfortunately they don't list any dimensions on their web site. Plus I was hoping someone here has used a CH Champion press to load .375 H&H length rounds on one and could let me know it it worked well with the long rounds. I like the Redding UltraMag but I like the Champion press better if I can load the 404 Jeffery on it. Allen It's a Mauser thing, you wouldn't understand.

Actually, I was suggesting that you contact them and ask directly. I understand that the owner is very forthcoming and should answer your questions for you. If you do get the Champion press, please give a report on it. It's one that I studied carefully when I was in the market but found that I needed neither the capacity nor the expense. ________________________ "Every country has the government it deserves." - Joseph de Maistre
