Hi
Do you have any good loading data for 375 H&H with light bullets like 225 gr hornady or 250 gr sierra and with rather fast burning powders for lighter recoil?
regards
yes

A friend uses the SP bullet designed for his .375 Holland tropical Mauser, which is around 200 grain if I remember it well and soft. He says it kills very well and does hardly destroy meat. The bullet is manufatured by one of the big US firms, do not remember which, just look in the manuals. I would use Vihta N110 powder for about 700 m/s or another fast rifle powder for slightly higher velocity..

The Hornady manual list loads with 4759 (34.4/2000 fps - 42/2300 fps) and 4227 (35.6/2000 fps - 38.1/2100 fps) with their 220 gr 375 Winchester bullet in the 2,000 - 2,300 fps range. 2100 fps is equivelent to the 375 Wincester and an excellent deer load.

Larry's listing is a good one. You could also use cast bullets made for the .38-55 for excellent deer loads. Unfortunately, I have a problem keeping them loaded. My grandsons like to shoot them at the range! Light recoil (for a .375H&H), accurate, and fun.
