I am looking for loads for my Rem Seven AWR in 300 Short Action Ultra Mag.

I didn't even know the guns, brass were available yet from remington. How long have they been out?

The custom shop guns have been out for about two months, I was offered one and turned it down.

I am going to wait and see which 300 short mag stays around. I don't see enough room on the market for two of essentially the same thing.

I would have rather seen Remington adopt the WSM line.

The story I've heard is that Remington had their shorty's in progress for several years but that Winchester beat them to the draw in getting it out to the public.

Just read that the Rem. SAUM is the only one that will it in a Rem mod 7. That is it's reason for being.

This little Model Seven AK Wilderness Rifle in 300 SA Ultra will be pretty sweet for Dall Sheep hunting up here in Alaska.
