A short time ago I bought some of these bullets that a fellow AR brother could not stabalize and pulled. They were a little indented from pulling. These are yesterday's results.

47.3gr 4831 short cut, RP ni case, #34 primer, oal= 2.780" 3131 to 3202fps. small amount of soot, mild, 3 shot 1/2" group at 50 yds. 8 shot 3/4" group at 200 yds.

Just for comparison.

Everythihing the same except a 68gr. Berger fb and oal= 2.720"3118 to 3224 fps., 4 shot 1/2" group at 50 yds. multi shot 2" group at 200 yds.

100gr. SPFB. Mid South Bulk. FC cases, #34 primers, 42.4gr. H-4831( not short cut) oal=2.858" 2583 to 2652 fps. 4 shot 1/2" group at 50yds and a small group at 200 yds.

BOOMroger

So that "pulling damage" didn't destroy accuracy?

Who'd a thunk it?

And the Bergers shot worse than the Pulled Grenades. Did you load the Barnes with the "Points" forward??? clap

Naw man, great shooting, nice report! thumb

Raining and dreary here. Saw a Robin catch a worm in the yard. Too early for the Robins. May have Robin Popsicles in a week or so - if you need any.
