280 to a 270

I have some 280 brass. Can i size them down to a .270 win. from the naked eye they look fairly close. Any help would be appreciated,

From memory, the 280 rem has the shoulder moved forward .030" to stop them being inadvertantly chambered in the 270.

Try your full length die and see if you can chamber the 280 cases.
